Touchdown for Dreams is a partnership between the Saskatchewan Roughriders and the Saskatchewan Cancer Agency where together we are fulfilling the dreams of women in this province who have a life‐threatening diagnosis of cancer.
Every woman should have the opportunity to see her dream come true, to hope, believe and experience her greatest vision. Together with your help we can make their dreams a reality.
What is a Dream?
It’s the hope of a woman that answers if you could do anything, go anywhere or meet anyone what would you choose or do?
Typical dreams could include:
- My dream is to go to…
- My dream is to meet…
- My dream is to have…
How is a Dream Fulfilled?
- A woman can complete an application or she can be referred by a family member, friends, medical personnel or others.
- We contact the woman’s oncologist for authorization that the woman meets the medical criteria for a wish. The oncologist also determines if the dream is appropriate for the woman’s medical condition.
- A small committee makes the determination of who will receive the dream.
- Once the individuals are selected the woman will be contacted and we will begin making the dream come true.
