Cameco Touchdown for Dreams is a three-year partnership between the Saskatchewan Cancer Agency, Cameco and the Saskatchewan Roughriders designed to help make a difference in the fight against cancer.
The Cameco Touchdown for Dreams program includes two components:
1. Prevention and early detection: Each spring in Saskatoon, a gala dinner will raise funds that will be used to increase the awareness and importance of cancer prevention and early detection, particularly in northern communities.
2. Fulfilling dreams: Each October in Regina, funds will be raised from the sale of pink Roughrider merchandise to fulfill the dreams of five women with a life-threatening diagnosis of cancer.
