Flu Clinics Available Starting October 22

Flu shots will be available in Saskatchewan free of charge starting October 22, 2018.

Your health is important to us and our oncologists recommend that you get immunized to help protect yourself and others from getting the flu. The flu vaccine is a safe, effective way to help people stay healthy, prevent illness and save lives.

Free vaccines will be offered through public health clinics , some physician and nurse practitioner offices and in local pharmacies. New  - pharmacists can vaccinate children 5 years and up. Anyone six months and older can receive the flu vaccine and is encouraged to get vaccinated early in the season.

Getting immunized is especially important for pregnant women, young children, seniors and people with underlying health conditions.

To find a flu clinic in your area and for more information, visit www.4flu.ca or call HealthLine 811.
