Pediatric Playroom, Allan Blair Cancer Centre

Cancer is rare in childhood. The way childhood tumors grow and react to treatment is very different than that of adults as well. 

For this reason, the Saskatchewan Cancer Agency employs a multi-disciplinary team trained specifically to care for pediatric patients. The pediatric team is a member of the Children's Oncology Research Group, an international research group dedicated to improving the outcome of pediatric cancer.
