The Saskatchewan Cancer Agency’s goal is to be a patient and family-centered organization.

As part of this commitment, the Saskatoon Cancer Centre and Allan Blair Cancer Centre have Lay Advisory Committees based in Saskatoon and Regina. These committees, made up of patient and family representatives from around the province, provide Agency administrators with their views relating to cancer care in Saskatchewan through:

• providing a way for patients and families to make suggestions
• identifying areas where improvements need to be made
• improving communication between everyone involved in cancer care
• being available to the staff and/or departments when patient feedback is needed.
