A list of all medications is important for your healthcare team at the cancer centre, and knowing your individual needs will help the team develop more individualized programs for you.

How to find us

Saskatoon Cancer Centre

The Saskatoon Cancer Centre is located at 20 Campus Drive on the University of Saskatchewan campus, beside the Royal University Hospital. A map to the cancer centre is available here. Click here to take a virtual tour of the cancer centre.

You can enter the cancer centre through our main doors on Campus Drive, through the back door from the parkade or by a skywalk in the Royal University Hospital. The reception desk is on the ground level. Take the elevator to G level if you are coming from the hospital through the skywalk. The cancer centre has wheelchairs available for patient use. Please see reception upon arrival to borrow one.

Parking
The Royal University Hospital parkade is next to the cancer centre. The parkade has automated parking pay stations. There are also parking meters on campus on Campus Drive. Handicapped parking is available in front of the cancer centre, however a permit sticker is required to park in these spots. The Royal University Hospital courtesy parkade shuttle will drive patients and families to and from their vehicles in the parkade.

Allan Blair Cancer Centre

The Allan Blair Cancer Centre is located in Regina at 4101 Dewdney Avenue, within the Pasqua Hospital and can be accessed through the main hospital doors. A map to the cancer centre is available here. Click here to take a virtual tour of the cancer centre.

Parking
Paid parking is available in the Pasqua Hospital visitor parking area at the front of the hospital. If your appointment is longer than three hours, please ask a cancer centre volunteer or a receptionist for a parking voucher. Present the voucher to the parking attendant when you leave, and you will only be charged for three hours. This only applies when the appointment is in the Allan Blair Cancer Centre itself. There is also limited two-hour street parking available on surrounding streets. The cancer centre has wheelchairs available for patient use. Please see reception upon arrival to borrow one.

New patient orientation

New patient orientation sessions help prepare patients for their care at the cancer centre by providing a better understanding of what to expect during a visit. As a new cancer patient, it is common to have many questions about your diagnosis, treatment, etc. We have compiled a list of frequently asked questions that may be helpful fo you to bring to your appointment.

Transportation

Volunteer Driving Program
Transportation to the cancer centre is available to patients who qualify through the Canadian Cancer Society.  The program is based in Regina and Saskatoon, but drivers also do weekly bus depot pick-ups to assist people coming from rural communities. Taxis
Telephones are available for you to call a taxi if needed. Please note that the cost of the taxi is your responsibility.
